Community Activist

Lisa Mason retired during the pandemic after more than 40 years in the health care industry. In her most recent position, she served as Vice President for Program Partnerships at the Greater Detroit Area Health Council, where she worked to create collaborative initiatives and community engagement projects to improve population health. Lisa is passionate about volunteering and is currently a Board member at the Detroit Institute of Arts Volunteer Council, Common Ground and the InterFaith Leadership Council of Metropolitan Detroit. Lisa has been a long-time resident of Royal Oak where she was a founding member of a Task Force to establish a Human Rights Commission.
