Training Manager

Elizabeth Crenshaw is a training manager at the Community Health Worker Academy at Wayne State University and loves helping people become physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually live their best lives. She has spent the majority of her career in the health care sector, gaining experience in areas such as patient, family, and community engagement; healthcare communications and crisis management; and healthcare quality and compliance. While developing and implementing standards-based curricula and engaging in health systems and health professional education about community health workers are her primary job functions by day, Elizabeth also enjoys coaching track and field, mentoring youth in the community, serving in the children’s ministry at church, and providing clinical applications of yoga therapy for in-patient and out-patient populations as a certified yoga therapist.
