Tim Hipskind is the Director of Community Engaged Learning at University of Detroit Mercy and loves connecting students, faculty and staff at the University with amazing, creative projects that shine a light on the best things Detroit has to offer and help to make our community even better. He spent the majority of his career in these kind of community engagement efforts including elements of community organizing, spirituality, and non-profit incubation. Outside of the office, Tim also enjoys growing house plants, hiking and biking, and reading a good book.Â
