Salam Beydoun (she/her)

Salam is the Environmental Justice Organizer at the Ecology Center and loves helping people connect, learn, and take action. She has spent the majority of her career advancing environmental justice and public health, gaining experience in areas such as community engagement, grassroots organizing, and policy advocacy. While organizing and advocacy is her primary job function by day, Salam also enjoys reading, gardening, and teaching yoga.

Q: What is something you love about where you live?

A: Born and raised in Dearborn, she loves living in close proximity to neighbors who share her Southern Lebanese roots, hearing the call to prayer from local mosques, and experiencing the delicious abundance of foods from different cultures.
