Ayanna-Grace has worked in the nonprofit sector for 12 years, gaining experience in teaching, urban farming, and organizing across gender justice, racial justice, and environmental justice. As a seasoned organizer, currently specializing in Digital Organizing at the Michigan Environmental Justice Coalition, she is passionate about transforming everyday people into community leaders by uplifting grassroots experiences and personal stories.
In addition to her digital organizing work, Ayanna-Grace runs City Sprouts: A Youth Run Urban Farm, a 5-month program that teaches children ages 5–9 how to grow food from seed to harvest through an environmental justice lens. Through this program, she introduces age-appropriate lessons on soil health, air quality, and community stewardship.
Outside of work, Ayanna-Grace enjoys dancing, exploring new hobbies, and spending time reading books.
