Justin Banks (he/him)

Justin Banks has worked in the nonprofit and youth-serving industry for over 5 years, gaining experience in mental health advocacy, youth development, community engagement, and public speaking. As a seasoned Senior Impact Manager with City Year Detroit, he is passionate about advancing educational equity and emotional wellness within schools and communities. In addition to supporting AmeriCorps teams and facilitating school-based programming, he is also involved in designing transformational workshops and creating healing-centered spaces for young men and emerging leaders. Outside of the office, Justin enjoys football, great food, and finding creative ways to help people turn their pain into power.
