Director of Communications
Deolis Allen III has worked in the education, community and mentoring industry for more than 10 years, gaining experience in Detroit's African centered schools Timbuktu Academy, Nsoroma Institute, and Marcus Garvey.
He has also volunteered and served as a board member of The Better Men Outreach Program (BMO) for eight years. As a leader of BMO, Deolis has served as the youth director, co-founder and program writer of BMO Jr, basketball coach, operation manager, and interventionist.
As a seasoned academic and behavior interventionist, he is passionate about advancing overall health and wellness for inner city youth, prison and violence prevention for Black males in particular.
Outside of the office Deolis enjoys spending time with his family, reading, writing, and coaching.
