Bobby Siporin is a psychiatric social worker at the Detroit VA Medical Center and loves helping homeless veterans find stable housing.

He has spent the majority of his career in the non-profit industry, gaining experiences in areas such as personal finance, community development , and K-12 education.

While supporting homeless veterans is his primary job function by day, Bobby also enjoys baking, running and working to create more useable green space in his community.

Q: What is something you love about where you live?

A: I live in the McDougall Hunt neighborhood and enjoy its close proximity to the Eastern Market and Downtown Detroit. I enjoy using the Campau and Dequindre Cut Greenways and spending time at the Riverfront and Belle Isle.
