Organizer, Campaigns and Education

Allie Zeff spent the first five years of her career as a music teacher and has worked in community organizing for two years, gaining experience in facilitation, relational organizing, and building power for progressive movements within the Jewish community.

As a community organizer, she is passionate about advancing the metro Detroit Jewish community's analysis around racial and economic justice issues. In addition to working for Detroit Jews for Justice is also involved in If Not Now Detroit and Jewish Voice for Peace.

Outside of the office, Allie enjoys playing with her dog and baking.

Q: What is something you love about where you live?

A: I love Hamtramck. My community is diverse, walkable, and packed with amazing history! The food is also a huge selling point!
