Detian Yang

Welcome to my personal website! I am Detian Yang (杨德天), an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at the Fudan University School of Management. I earned my Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Hong Kong, during which I was a visiting scholar at the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley.

My research focuses broadly on financial reporting quality and sustainability. In particular, I examine (i) the externalities of corporate financial reporting quality and (ii) corporate incentives for voluntary environmental disclosures and environmental policies. My papers have been published in Review of Accounting Studies.
