Instructor introduction
Hello, I’m Mingkwan Gunjina, teaching Mathematics and Statistics in the Faculty of Science and Agriculture Technology, RMUTL. I also have experienced in teaching in the courses “Thinking and Problem Solving” and “Innovation and Technology” where the “Design Thinking” is a tool to an application for students group-project in each course. I had attended facilitator training in Design Thinking for Learning Express from Singapore Polytechnic (SP). I was a DT facilitator in five international academic camps between SP and RMUTL, and used Design Thinking for social innovation in the rural area in Chiangmai, Thailand.

1.The concept of Design Thinking: What is Design Thinking?, Why use Design Thinking?, What are the key features of Design Thinking?
2.The development of Design Thinking and its implementation in the top organizations.
3.Frameworks of Design Thinking and Design Thinking process implemented in
social innovation project, Chiangmai, Thailand.
Unit course characteristics
From this unit course, students will learn about the concept of Design Thinking including its significances and key features. They will also learn about the development of Design Thinking and its implementation in the top organizations. In addition, students will learn many difference framework of Design Thinking and those implemented in social innovation projects in Chiangmai, Thailand.
