Aim of the meeting
The workshop is intended as project meeting associated to PRIN 2022 project 20229P2HEA "Stochastic numerical modelling for sustainable innovation", granted by MUR within the scrolling of the final rankings of the PRIN 2022 call.
The acronym DESTINY contains in itself three fundamental ingredients of the aforementioned project:
delay differential equations and related problems;
numerical methods for stochastic differential equations and related issues;
sustainability.
The research units involved in this project are:
University of L'Aquila - coordinator: prof. Raffaele D'Ambrosio (PI of the project);
University of Salerno - coordinator: prof. Dajana Conte;
University of Udine - coordinator: prof. Dimitri Breda.
The meeting is a profitable occasion to share ideas and favour group meetings regarding the very first months of the project (started on February 2025), as well as to move further steps towards the direction of creating profitable networking opportunities, in the spirit of the project.

How to reach L'Aquila
The easiest way to reach L'Aquila is by direct bus from Rome or Pescara.
For those traveling by plane, the closest airports are in Rome (Fiumicino and Ciampino Airports) and in Pescara (Aeroporto internazionale d'Abruzzo). An express coach service, directly connecting both Fiumicino and Ciampino Airports to L'Aquila, is available, operated by Gaspari. The trip takes about 2h15m from Fiumicino and 1h 45m from Ciampino. For those traveling by train, the most convenient solution is Rome Tiburtina train station. For people traveling on the East coast along the Adriatic sea, Giulianova and Pescara train stations are also an option. Buses from Rome Tiburtina, Giulianova and Pescara to L'Aquila are offered by several companies: e.g.,
