Information Collection and Use

DeskMood is designed with privacy as a core principle.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. All data you create within the app—such as mood collections, preferences, and settings—is stored locally on your device using secure local storage.

Camera and Photo Library Access

DeskMood may request access to your device’s photo library exclusively for the Photo Palette Extractor feature.
This permission allows you to select images or capture new photos to extract color palettes. All image processing happens entirely on your device.
Images are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored by us.
You may deny this permission and continue using all other app features normally.

Local Data Storage

All mood-related data—including colors, categories, timestamps, and user preferences (e.g., dark mode)—is stored locally on your device.
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
You may delete all stored data at any time through the Settings menu.

In-App Purchases

DeskMood offers optional in-app purchases to support ongoing development.
All transactions are processed securely through Google Play.
We do not have access to your payment information. Google Play handles all payments in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms of service.

Third-Party Services

DeskMood does not use analytics services, advertising networks, or any third-party data collection tools.
We do not share any information with third parties.

Children’s Privacy

DeskMood does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Since all data stays on your device and no user information is collected, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Data Security

Your privacy and security are important to us.
Because all information is stored locally, data protection depends on your device’s security measures. We recommend enabling features such as screen lock, biometric authentication, or device encryption.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any updates will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data.
You may view, edit, or delete any mood data within the app at any time.
To delete all data, go to Settings → Delete All Data.
Uninstalling the app also removes all locally stored data on your device.
