Terms of Use
These Terms of Use set out the conditions for using the mobile app "Deskmate" (iOS / Android, hereinafter the "Application") provided by the Deskmate team (Kosuke Ikeda and Kensuke Yamasaki, hereinafter the "Service Provider").
By downloading or using the Application, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms of Use. Please read these Terms carefully before use and use the Application only if you agree to them.
Services and Plans
The Application provides features such as a digital clock, a Pomodoro timer, a stopwatch, ambient sounds, moods (clock designs), and Deep Focus (blocking the apps you select). The features available to you depend on your plan:
FREE (free): All clock, Pomodoro timer, and stopwatch features, ambient sounds, the "Simple Digital" mood, and Deep Focus (up to 30 minutes per day)
LIGHT (monthly or yearly subscription): Everything in FREE, plus all moods and content added in the future
PRO (monthly or yearly subscription): Everything in LIGHT, plus unlimited Deep Focus
Prices for paid plans vary by country and region and may change due to factors such as exchange rates. The price that applies is the one shown in the App Store or Google Play before you purchase.
Purchases and Auto-Renewal
You can purchase a paid plan (LIGHT / PRO) without signing in to an account. Purchases and payments are made through the App Store or Google Play, and the terms of the respective store apply.
The billing period is one month for monthly plans and one year for yearly plans, starting from the date of purchase (or the end date of the free trial, if you used one).
Paid plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, your subscription automatically renews for the same period and plan.
The renewal fee is charged to your App Store or Google Play account within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
The Service Provider may change the content and prices of paid plans. Any price changes will be notified in accordance with each store's procedures.
Free Trial
If you are purchasing a monthly or yearly LIGHT or PRO plan for the first time, you can use a 7-day free trial. Eligibility is determined by each store's conditions; for example, you are not eligible if you have previously used a trial for the same subscription.
After the free trial ends, you will automatically be charged the price of the plan you selected.
If you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
If you purchase a different paid plan during the free trial, any unused portion of the trial will be forfeited.
Cancellation
To cancel, please use your store's subscription management screen.
App Store: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions
Google Play: Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions
Uninstalling the Application or deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.
After canceling, you can continue to use the paid plan until the end of the current billing period. No prorated refunds are given for cancellations made partway through a billing period.
Refunds
Refunds are subject to the refund policies of the App Store or Google Play. Because payments are processed by each store, the Service Provider cannot issue refunds directly.
Restoring Purchases and Existing-User Benefits
After changing devices or reinstalling, you can restore purchased plans by signing in with the same account you used to purchase, or by tapping the account icon at the top of the app screen and selecting "Restore Purchases."
Users who used the Application before paid plans were introduced receive a benefit that allows them to continue using certain paid features (the "existing-user benefit"). You must sign in to an account to claim this benefit.
Users eligible for the existing-user benefit can purchase the PRO yearly plan at a special first-year price. From the second year onward, it renews automatically at the regular yearly price. The free trial does not apply to purchases at this special price.
Eligibility and details of the benefit are explained in the app.
Accounts
You can create an account with "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google" (Android supports "Sign in with Google" only). Creating an account is optional. All features, including purchasing a paid plan, can be used without an account, except claiming existing-user benefits.
You are responsible for managing your own account and must not allow any third party to use it.
You can delete your account at any time by tapping the account icon at the top of the app screen and selecting "Delete Account." Deleting your account erases the information saved to it, and this cannot be undone.
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. To cancel, please follow the steps in "Cancellation" above.

When using the Application, you must not:
Violate any laws, regulations, or public order and morals
