ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Zoology Department has started its journey in the Year 1965 as an integrated Department in the name of Bio Science. Later on in the Year 1994 Zoology (Hons.) course has started in this Department. Zoology Department is one of the renowned Department of Malda College on the basis of academic environment and performance of the student.

The Department take active participation in remedial coaching for academically backward students. Assess student performance regularly through Class Test. Organizes Parents/ Guardians-Teachers meet to conscious about the performance of their wards.

The students of Zoology Department put their imprint in various Academic and Extra-Curricular Activities such as Model Exhibition, Educational Tour, Extension Activities, Cultural Programs, Sports etc.
