Effective date: July 15, 2026
DepthMap ("the app") is a room-measuring and floor-plan drafting app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Summary
DepthMap is offline-first. It does not require an account, does not have a server backend, and does not use any analytics or advertising services. All rooms, plans, measurements, and settings you create are stored locally on your device in a local database and are never transmitted anywhere by the app.
Information we collect
We do not collect any information. Nothing you enter into DepthMap, including room names, measurements, notes, photos, or preferences, leaves your device. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no remote servers involved in the app's normal operation.
Device permissions
DepthMap may request access to your photo library only when you choose to attach a photo, for example from the optional Contact Support screen. Any photo you select is used only within the app on your device and is not uploaded to any server by the app.
Third parties
DepthMap does not share data with third parties because it does not collect or transmit any data in the first place. The app contains no advertising SDKs and no analytics SDKs.
Children's privacy
DepthMap is not directed at children and is not designed to appeal primarily to children.
