The DepthFake Attack uses a 2D public photo of a legitimate user to spoof the 3D face authentication system.

Sense 1: A legitimate User passes the 3D face authentication.
Sense 2: The photo replay attack is failed to pass the 3D face authentication system.
The Setup of the DepthFake Attack
Sense 3: The DepthFake Attack passes the 3D face authentication system successfully.
The DepthFake Attack includes three steps:
（1）Estimating the depth information from a 2D photo of the legitimate user.
（2）Modulating the estimated depth image to a structured light scatter pattern.
（3）Projecting the scatter pattern on the adversarial photo and align the face region to launch the DepthFake attack.
