Details on student enrichment programs
(Special lectures/workshops/seminar) with external experts:-
a) Organized a National seminar on Muhurtha Sastra Kerala Tradition on 20th November 2015 to create a clear and authoritative picture of the topic and to reveal the contemporary relevance of the practice of Muhurthas.
b) Organized a National Workshop on Dasadhyayi from 14/12/2016 to 20/12/2016 to create a clear and authoritative picture of the text for the faculty and students. Many scholars have participated in the workshop.
C) Organized a National Webinar on Fundamental Principles of Jyothisha from 07/09/2020 to 09/09/2020
c) Parikishit memorial lecture and International seminar on 2022 March 9 & 10
Teaching methods adopted to improve student learning:
Students are advised to do the seminar in related topics.
Assignments are given in each subject.
Dept is conducting tutorial classes to improve the learning capacity of each student.
Remedial coaching is given to those students who are very weak in their subjects.
