A Man Died in the Accident
Aurora Police said one of the drivers was heading the wrong way down North Airport Boulevard when the accident happened early Saturday morning. Aurora Police Department (APD) said officers responded to a call around 4:00 pm after a head-on collision occurred on North Airport Boulevard, south of East Colfax Avenue. At 7.30 pm, their initial investigation revealed that the black Smart was traveling north on the southbound lane of Airport Boulevard when it collided with a gray southbound Subaru Outback. Both drivers were taken to hospital. The man driving the Smart died, and the man driving the Subaru was slightly injured. Police said an investigation was ongoing.
