Deniz Aktan

Deniz Aktan is an international trade, investment, and business development executive with extensive experience in global commerce, trade finance, corporate structuring, strategic sourcing, supply-chain management, and cross-border operations. Throughout his career, he has led commercial, industrial, and investment projects connecting Türkiye, Ukraine, the United States, Japan, and European markets.

With an academic background in Computer Engineering, he began his professional career in information technology and systems engineering before transitioning into international business. Combining technical expertise with commercial leadership, he contributed to the establishment of corporate structures, distribution systems, and trade networks across multiple industries.

A major milestone in his career was the leadership of nationwide commercial development projects in Ukraine. He oversaw the creation of sales, distribution, service, and after-sales organizations operating throughout the country. This infrastructure supported long-term cooperation with national and international companies and contributed to the sale of more than 70,000 commercial refrigeration units, generating revenues exceeding EUR 30 million.

His responsibilities covered projects in the food and beverage, FMCG, industrial manufacturing, agriculture, chemicals, petrochemicals, metallurgy, raw materials, and logistics sectors. His work included sales management, procurement, import and export operations, customs procedures, logistics coordination, project execution, distributor development, commercial negotiations, and strategic partnership formation.

He later served as Country Manager for Ukraine within a European trade and investment organization. In this position, he supported manufacturing and industrial companies entering the Ukrainian market, coordinated investment initiatives, developed distribution networks, and facilitated cooperation between private enterprises and institutional stakeholders. He also worked closely with chambers of commerce, embassies, trade missions, investment agencies, export-promotion bodies, and business associations.

His participation in investment forums, economic summits, trade missions, international exhibitions, and B2B events across Ukraine and Europe contributed to stronger commercial relations and new investment opportunities. His work in foreign trade, economic cooperation, and business diplomacy was recognized through awards, certificates, letters of appreciation, and official acknowledgements from governmental institutions, chambers of commerce, and industry organizations.

In later years, his activities became increasingly concentrated on chemicals, petrochemicals, specialty products, industrial intermediates, performance additives, fertilizers, and strategic raw materials. He developed commercial partnerships among manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and industrial consumers in Türkiye, Ukraine, the United States, Japan, and Europe.

His experience includes international procurement, supply-chain development, commodity trading, trade-finance structures, documentary instruments, commercial risk assessment, and multi-country transactions. These activities supported reliable supply relationships for chemical raw materials, petrochemical products, fertilizers, steel products, and other industrial inputs.

Over the course of his career, Deniz Aktan established relationships with leading global manufacturers, including Dow in the United States and Europe, DuPont, and other major industrial organizations. These collaborations involved strategic sourcing, cross-border procurement, supply-chain structuring, and long-term commercial partnerships.

As the founder and executive leader of international trading ventures specializing in chemicals and industrial raw materials, he developed commercial platforms connecting manufacturers, industrial consumers, logistics providers, distributors, and financial institutions. His leadership focused on long-term supply agreements, regional market development, transaction structuring, and sustainable international growth.

Through his work, Deniz Aktan has contributed to building durable commercial relationships between Türkiye, Ukraine, the United States, Japan, and Europe. His career reflects a consistent commitment to connecting international manufacturers with industrial markets, developing trusted partnerships, and creating long-term value through trade, investment, and strategic business cooperation.
