So i have been watching Demon slayer and almost through the season 4 on Netflix. I was searching some stuff on it and I'm a bit confused. Is there going to like a 2nd half of the 4th season. Reason i ask is because when i was searching around i seen stuff on season 4 being the training arc a few months back and they mention the swordsmith village arc as part of season 3. that seems to be the entirety of season 4 on Netflix anyway. I searched Inosuke season 4 because i am like 5 episodes in and did not see much of him and he is def my favorite and funny!!!! I think he makes the show but thats my opinion!! They showed he is alive but really not much. so i guess my questions is what is the correct order of the seasons and episodes. i am watching the English dub. is the English version in a different order. also seen that season 4 was not coming out till like 2024 then it was out all of a sudden couple months later. I looked stuff up before it came out and earlier today and mixed info, probably cause it was released so early.

Tanjiro main goal is to turn his sister Nezuko back to human form. Nice and simple. Even the demon slayer core is not brought down with back story on who started it, how old it is etc. I really hate when shows give off unnecessary lore if isn't necessary to the plot.

This is supposedly a test that'll prepare you for the "real thing", but just like High school, the slayers are left prepared for jack shit. I mean, examine Tanjiro's missions. There was never really a point where he was dropped unknowingly with a bunch of demons and had to fight in increments of resting and then searching for demons over a week like he did on Mt. Fujikasane.

And there's no way that BIG ASS FAT ASS DEMON HID HIMSELF. You're meaning to tell me we have slayers with enhanced senses yet not even a mildly high ranked slayer could come there to check up on if any demons got too strong?

We've already talked about how the Hand Demon legitimately shouldn't exist and is way above the level of the other demons, but let's take that into account. If you lose say 75% of your participants and of those 25% a few of them are like Aoi, then you're kinda fucked regardless. This isn't to hate on Aoi, but you legit can just survive the final Selection by camping out, you're encouraged to. The demon slayer association is chucking away Sabito's and gaining Aoi's by the moment with this selection and its so inefficient.

Why not have the slayers act in a controlled environment to simulate real demon fights instead of this BS? If needed have someone like Urokodaki or even someone closer to the higher ranks like a Hinoe or Kinoto to be at the ready to defeat a demon.

Oh man the Hashira's are so cool I cant wait to see what they are like- and they're gone. As sad as it is to say every single demon slayer and some hashira outside of the main cast are just soulless fodder. I might be crazy but it's seemed like if they didn't wear a colorful uniform they didn't have a breathing style? The whole Demon Slayer organization is very vague which is a shame because it looks and sounds cool.

In my opinion season 2 was horrible, the thickness of the plot armour almost gave me a heart attack, Gyutaro had like 1000 chances to win, every time the slayers couldn't move, he decided to not do anything , even when he caught uzui's wife, until to the moment when tanjiro saved her, he just looked at her for 2-3 minutes, and dont say that it's because the time inside tanjiri's head moved slower, it took tanjiro a lot of time to take deep breathes and think of a plan. Well I give this trash season 2/10, overrated season.

Oh my god demon slayer is a treasure chest filled with shit. so much good ruined my needless backstory, why do i have to watch a whole episode of backstory for a demon who has just died, im not gonna feel bad for you when you spent 5 episodes being an absolute freek and monster. i seriously hate it and it seems like over the course of the entertainment arc at least 40 mins in a 11 episode season was needless backstory.

The female cast in demon slayer is very weak compared to the male cast. That's not to say that ALL the female characters in kny are bad. In fact, I think Shinobu is great, Tamayo is good and Kanao and Aoi are alright.

However characters like Kanao, Aoi and Tamayo suffer from lack of screentime/moments in the story when male characters like genya get more screen time. I wish Aoi had more screen time because we barely even know her. Yes I know she's not that important since she isn't a demon slayer, but I wish we got to dive into her struggles between her fear and morality and maybe even get to see her save the little butterfly girls(I forgot their names) from a demon.I wish it wasn't Tanjiro who made her feel worthy again and then boom, done.

Do you think that those who have had the demon slayer mark would actually die by 25? I don't think that is necessarily the case. The comment that no one has lived past 25 could be referring to this fact as an empirical observation (i.e. so far, no one except yoriichi has lived past 25) and not really as a death sentence, like something that will definitely happen because the mark has manifested itself, and would happen just because the mark has manifested itself. The short lifespan could be due to two reasons:

(2) It shortens your lifespan because of the energy used while activating the mark. In other words, one lives only to age 25 because if the mark manifests around age 19-21, and presumably, you use the mark often while fighting as such a high level, the cumulative strain on your body leads to an increased shortening of your life span, such that the maximum you can go is age 25. It's not a death sentence per se but it might as well be. It's like Ed Elric in FMAB using his life force to heal himself. Doing it once cuts maybe a couple of years from his life. But if he does it again and again, then it'll keep deducting years from his life until he actually dies young. And I think it makes sense - past demon slayers would have been fighting demons constantly up to their deaths, which means they probably had the chance to use their marks multiple times, with each time putting a further strain on their life force.

The general repulsion surrounding being turned into a demon is understandable enough: you will end up eating a lot of humans (probably including your loved ones), you will be subservient to Muzan, you are unlikely ever able to function properly in human society again (given your need for blood and inability to walk under the sun). And all of these made it pretty understandable for Tanjiro to immediately make turning Nezuko back into a human his goal. But as the story goes on, we learn that Nezuko has acquired none of the disadvantages surrounding being a demon, Muzan has no control over her, she does not have to eat humans and recently, she has acquired the ability to walk under the sun. Quite the opposite, becoming a demon has given her a lot of advantages. She's more durable than the average human, can fight to protect the people she love, and is overall relatively unkillable. And of course, she'd also be immortal. Her child-like state seems to be something that she could eventually grow out of as well instead of a permanent inconvenience. (As we also learnt in the recent season, it is speculated that she would be well on her way to regaining her human state of mind if she hadn't occupied herself with conquering the sun.) ff782bc1db
