"One of the most popular e-commerce trends is to build a drop shipping business. If you do it right, it can be a viable source of income that can grow along with your efforts, including larger product lines and multiple stores. You can get up and running thanks to options like Shopify, giving you access to pre-built e-commerce themes designed to provide pleasant user experiences on all types of devices and easy to manage on the back end." -- Jake Braun, Co-Founder of Kapok Marketing

LOL, good point Mr Last Minute!

I'm not affected by the 'censorship' and as I said in my last post I'm not sure what it's all about...is it local policy, is it Yahoo...is it coming to all of us...is it just a really unfortunate glitch that could be bad for business..... but it's not for disussion in this thread anyway.

I am simply aware that, since Yahoo took over, things have changed a bit and may change a lot more. So it's good to do a bit of research and keep options open, prepare for a time when maybe I have to stop paying Flickr/Yahoo my money. I hope not, as i said I really like Flickr and have got a lot out of being here. I agree with folks who talk about the diversity of Flickr and the opportunity to air opinions. I'm aware I live in a country where free speech is still allowed...although less so than it once was but that's another thread, and aware not everyone has that luxury so I hope Flickr remains as diverse and interesting in its groups, discussions and most importantly it's photography and community.

I have never tried another photo sharing site and I'm really interested in the competition that might be out there. It sounds as though, however, Flickr is still the place to be if you want more than just to post a few family snaps.

Themes Coming With Zooomr 2008

DOWNLOAD 🔥 https://ssurll.com/2xZnIA 🔥

Other sites worth looking at perhaps:

Tabblo - www.tabblo.com/studio/person/panchromatica

Twango - www.twango.com/panchromatica

HumbleVoice - www.humblevoice.com/panchromatica

All of these have something in their favour. Tabblo for example is great for setting up printed layouts, while Humble Voice gives you the chance to upload both visual and text based material.

I'm already on 23 ( www.23hq.com/ibanda ) but find nothing much happens. Despite all the shouting about zooomr, 23 seems to be pretty much a flickr ripoff to an even greater degree.

I'm on DeviantArt too ( ibanda.deviantart.com/ ), but it has an appalling interface when uploading and is generally a bit odd.

I was on fotolog ( www.fotolog.com/ibanda/ ) before coming to flickr. I moved because it was so unreliable.

As for Zooomr ( beta.zooomr.com/photos/panchromatica/ ), it doesn't seem to be living up to Thomas Hawk's hype - I find it pretty impenetrable and still very slow. I still don't know what the zipline is...

None of these so far have the same interactivity that comes from flickr. Fotolog was close, but it was too unreliable. Tabblo, Twango and 23 could clearly offer that if they had the member base. I think my preference would be for Tabblo.

In practice though, I haven't given any of them the effort I gave to flickr. So far the 'push' from flickr is nowhere near the 'push' I had from fotolog and isn't in any case to do with usability. I came to flickr because so many of the people whose work I liked on fotolog had moved here. I suspect if something similar happened, I would follow the crowd, although this time that crowd is bigger and more diverse. I don't have the time to maintain lots of photosites. I can hardly keep up with flickr, my blog and my website.

Ipernity ( www.ipernity.com/panchromatica )

Finally, 23 and Zooomr both say they are for photos only so my manipulations and other imaging would be outside their TOS. I almost left flickr because of that and wouldn't want a repeat elsewhere.

I'm not entirely sure what twitter is either, but I'm sure I can live without it!

My post above is copied from another thread. At the time I didn't know about ipernity. However I'm coming down in favour of ipernity, humble voice or tabblo.

Ipernity seems closest to flickr in look and feel. I like the fact that it is Europe based too, so avoiding things like the current debacle, although that probably means all the others from Asia, Australia and S America would disappear too.
