Delock Driver Download !!EXCLUSIVE!!

I got a USB PCI card with 4 USB ports, from DeLock (there a number 89297 on the box), and have some severe problems with it. I don't know if DeLock is known to work well with Linux? It states Linux compatibility, and comes with drivers on CD but not sure if it includes one for Linux, but my PC doesn't have CD reader.

Whats also strange is that the Delock 62406 doesn't work with the latest drivers from FTDI (v 2.08.28)

I have an issue where my prolific USB to Serial adapter stopped being detected as 'n "Ports (Com & LPT)" device. It keeps on detecting it is a " USB Composite" device, even after installing the correct Windows drivers downloaded directly from the manufacturer's website. Uninstalling it and reinstalling it doesn't help.

I get the same result on another computer also running Windows 10. It simply refuses to recognize the adapter as a USB to Serial device anymore and keeps on detecting it as a "USB Composite" device as soon as you plug it in after uninstalling it and restarting Windows. Windows also claims that it finds no better driver than the one currently installed when doing a driver search, even after installing the manufacturer drivers.

I'm facing a weird problem with my USB to serial-adapter. The adapter has a Prolific-2303 chipset. The COM port is not getting detected by the Windows 7 laptop.

I've installed the drivers and restarted the computer after installing the drivers.

I've run the driver update from the device manager and updated the drivers.

I also tried to install the COM port manually from the device manager.

I checked the adapter by connecting it to another desktop computer and the COM port is getting detected.

I was unable to locate a Linux compatible driver for your device. Until some one far more motivated than I writes a driver or support for this device into the kernel, it appears that if you want to use it you are stuck with using the Operating Systems that support it which according to the product link you provided are:

Note: NDISwrapper is known to make some drivers work with the Linux kernel, sadly to the best of my knowledge it requires drivers that comply to the NDIS 5.0 spec which went out with Windows XP I believe, so that isn't likely to help you with this particular device.

- no i dalje je taj soft nepotreban, tj moda je prije 5-vie godina bio potreban-koristan (dok npr driver/os nisu ukljuili neku opciju kao trim i sl. ili soft za migraciju-kloniranje ..) ali realno to je dodatni soft bez kojeg moe, pa ak i ostati na starom win bez nekog ''gubitka'' ..

-kompatibilnost? .. sve je to x86 platforma, tj PC-x86 kao to je nekad bio ibm-pc, kompatibilan format-dimnzije + standard+driver(za eljeni os..). odgovor je da, ali to nije ono to treba pitati :)

-trei odgovor nrp kako misli koristiti kad upari dvoje istih-kompatibilnih (ili drugi kontroler ili drugi disk.. bre je nvme), tj to podrava mbo-bios npr boot s takvog medija ili samo kao storage a to ne ovisi o tim komponentama nego o biosu tj to on podrava-nudi (novije mbo u biosu predviaju boot s pciex .. mada je to malo nedoreeno tj nekad (davno, nakon dinosaura..) su ide-sata-scsi.. kontroleri imali dodatni-vlastiti ROM-chip za boot kao i npr driver, tj uvjek je potreban neki chip-rom.. koji to omoguava ili to mora podravati bios direktno i nije sigurno kako se tad ponaa isti kontroler na razliitim mbo-biosu, tj rade li uope kao nekad vlastiti boot-chip, a o tome tad ovisi moe li koristiti taj disk za boot, tj svaki medij je isti tj da bi bio bootabilan mora biti podran, disketa-cd-hdd-usb.. sve to su mediji a m2 je ipak neto novo i time moda nekompatiblno tj moda mbo nema mogunost. To proita-provjeri za svoju mbo ili pogleda opcije i ako vidi neto o pciex bootu tad valjda moe, tj ni tad nisi siguran dok to ne proba jer postoje bugovi, standadri se mijenjaju itd.. i tad moda ono to je zamiljeno da treba raditi moda ne radi ili ovisi o nekoj desetoj sitnici pa moda radi neki intel-chip moda ne radi via-chip i sl.. jer tako je nekad bilo s disk kontrolerima i povijesno se moe oekivati jednak problem na novom dok ne postane uhodani standard za sve proizvoae i eliminiraju se 'djeje bolesti'.. :)

-osnovna razlika u m2.sata ili nvme, je sam kontroler na kojem je disk, tj kao sata se ponaa jednako kao na ploi, sata.. i s njim se raunalo ponaa kao sa sata diskom, uz ogrnaienje brzine na sata-3-600.. dok nvme ide kako pcix i nudi vee brzine 1-2-3000.. sad ve i najnovije mbo-chispeti za pciex.4.. ali to nije isti kontroler, drugi nain rada-standard-driver.. kao da normalan disk sata-hdd/ssd spoji na npr useb adpater-kontroler i korsiti kao ext.usb disk.. tj tad je to na usb ali je disk i dalje sata, dok lanano korntoler to konvertira i mora biti podran npr usb boot da bi bootao-krositio (a to npr starija raunala nemaju +10 i vie godina starosti jer tad je tek uveden usb boot a tad i razne emulacije kao floppy-zip-hdd-optical i sl.. dok danas to radi na svakom raunalu.. ubode stiki i boota-install..). Sve to da bi radilo mora biti podrano od biosa ili zasebnog kontrolera koji ta mora imati svoj chip-kontroler-logiku-rom. Bez ROMa je to samo fiziki adapter-spoj a tad ako ovisi npr o win drivru za koritenje ne moe biti bootabilan jer se prvo mora uitati driver.. tad je samo storage ili bi morao imati kao nekad DOS-driver (za kontrolere ali i mi i ostalo..) koji bi tad radio bez win.. e24fc04721
