Hi, my name is Dejuan Isaiah Lawrence (DJ), and I am a FCS Transfer Portal DB with 4 years of eligibility. I am a character-driven, effort-driven student-athlete who centers God and family in everything I do. I would love to contribute to the energy, brotherhood, and success of any program I am blessed to be a part of. Having both corner and safety experience, I love to bring the physical and mental side of football together in my play. I am a very instinctual and intellectual player who learns exotic formations/coverages well, knows their weaknesses, and uses their coverage strengths to my advantage. I am a very strong and physical defensive back with no hesitation to light anyone up on a football field. I love filling the alley/box, bringing the blitz, causing turnovers, and securing open-field tackles. Whether it's a 4th & Goal run you need to be stopped, a deep post you need to be locked down, or a leader that can rally the defense and push each teammate to give their best, I'd love to be your guy.
