If you want total darkness and a dedicated sleep mask design that blocks out light completely while offering 15 hours of battery life, choose Dehailey Sleep Mask; if you need a versatile, machine-washable headband with a built-in microphone for calls and sports use, choose Fulext Sleep Headphones.
• Dehailey Sleep Mask: Offers 100% light blocking and a contoured eye cavity for side sleepers with a massive 15-hour battery, but the electronics are integrated and cannot be removed for washing.
• Fulext Sleep Headphones: Features a removable speaker module making it fully machine washable and sweat-proof for active use, though it lacks the deep blackout capability of a traditional eye mask.
• Who is this for?: Dehailey is ideal for those who prioritize sleep environment and light sensitivity, while Fulext suits travelers or athletes needing a multi-use accessory that doubles as a gym band.
The Dehailey Sleep Mask is engineered specifically for people who struggle with light intrusion when trying to fall asleep. Its core strength lies in the "Plus Size" design that creates a 3D contoured eye cavity. This isn't just a flat piece of fabric; the shape allows your eyes to move freely without the mask pressing against your eyelids. If you toss and turn or have sensitive eyes, this physical separation makes a tangible difference in comfort compared to flatter alternatives. The inclusion of thickened side padding combined with a thin Bluetooth audio module ensures that even if you are a committed side sleeper, the speakers won't dig into your cheekbone or ear, which is a common complaint with standard over-ear headphones.
Battery life is another defining factor for this product. With a high-capacity battery that supports up to 15 hours of continuous play on a single 1-to-2-hour charge, this mask can easily power through an entire night plus a nap or two without needing a mid-day recharge. The integration of Bluetooth 5.4 ensures the connection remains stable and pairing is fast, meaning you aren't fumbling with settings before drifting off. The sound quality comes from 15mm high-sensitivity dynamic drivers tuned for Hi-Fi stereo, delivering rich audio directly into your ears without the bulkiness of external hardware.
This product is the clear choice for anyone seeking a dedicated sleep solution that combines visual isolation with audio entertainment. It works exceptionally well for travel, meditation, or insomnia relief where the primary goal is to create a dark, quiet sanctuary. However, you should skip this option if you plan to wear the device during intense workouts where sweat could damage the non-removable electronics, or if you prefer a gear that can go straight into the washing machine without disassembly. The soft, breathable cotton and memory foam materials keep things cool, but the fixed nature of the tech means maintenance requires more care than a simple rinse.

The Fulext Sleep Headphones take a different approach by functioning as a hybrid between a headband, a sleep aid, and active sportswear. Its most distinct advantage is the design philosophy centered on hygiene and versatility. Unlike the Dehailey, which has permanently embedded electronics, the Fulext features ultra-thin HD speakers that are removable. This allows you to detach the electronic component before throwing the fabric headband into the washing machine. Combined with its moisture-wicking, sweat-proof fabric, this makes it a practical choice for people who exercise, run, or yoga regularly and want one piece of gear that transitions seamlessly from a sweaty workout to a restful night's sleep.
Audio performance is handled by 40mm ultra-thin HD drivers, which provide crisp and clear sound suitable for podcasts, white noise, or music. The inclusion of a built-in microphone adds a layer of utility that the Dehailey lacks, enabling hands-free calls even while lying down or wearing the band. This turns the device into a daily driver rather than just a bedtime tool. The Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity matches the speed and stability of the competition, ensuring your playlist doesn't cut out during a long commute or a meditation session. While the battery life is slightly shorter at 14 hours, it still covers a full night of listening with a quick 1-to-2-hour Type-C charge cycle.
This product fits best for users who value flexibility and durability over absolute light blockage. If you are looking for a best comfortable wireless headphones for kids or adults who might lose track of their devices, the washability offers peace of mind. It is also an excellent headset gift for kids because it can be used for gaming, listening to stories, or relaxing after school without worrying about damaging a delicate sleep mask. The elastic design ensures a snug fit for various head sizes, and the MistGray color adds a neutral aesthetic. However, buyers who rely heavily on total darkness to fall asleep might find the open-band style less effective than a padded eye mask, as it does not offer the same level of light occlusion.
• Best for Light Blocking → Dehailey Sleep Mask: The contoured 3D cavity and thick padding provide true 100% blackout, essential for light-sensitive sleepers.
• Best for Hygiene and Cleaning → Fulext Sleep Headphones: Removable speakers allow the fabric to be machine washed, keeping the device fresh after heavy sweating.
• Best Battery Life → Dehailey Sleep Mask: At 15 hours, it edges out the Fulext, ensuring uninterrupted sleep cycles without mid-night recharging.
• Best for Active Use and Sports → Fulext Sleep Headphones: Sweat-proof materials and a secure headband design make it superior for running, yoga, or gym sessions.
• Best for Calls and Communication → Fulext Sleep Headphones: The built-in microphone enables hands-free calling, a feature absent in the Dehailey model.
• Best for Side Sleepers (Light Sensitivity) → Dehailey Sleep Mask: The specific side-padding and eye-cavity design prevent pressure points while eliminating light entirely.
• Best Versatility/All-Day Wear → Fulext Sleep Headphones: Functions equally well as a gym headband, a travel companion, and a sleep aid.
• Best Value for Multi-Use Needs → Fulext Sleep Headphones: The ability to wash the band and use it for calls offers more functional utility beyond just sleeping.
After weighing the specifications and intended use cases, I would buy the Dehailey Sleep Mask if my primary goal was solving a sleep problem related to light or anxiety, whereas I would choose the Fulext Sleep Headphones for a household that needs a durable, washable, and multi-purpose device. Specifically, for kids, the Fulext Sleep Headphones feel like the safer bet due to the washable fabric and the included microphone, which makes it easier for parents to manage and clean. A child is likely to get them sweaty during the day, and being able to throw the band in the laundry is a significant practical advantage. However, if I were buying for an adult with severe light sensitivity, the Dehailey's superior blackout capabilities would be the deciding factor. In my opinion, the Fulext wins on longevity and versatility for a general family setting.
Both models utilize Bluetooth 5.4 technology, which provides fast pairing and generally low latency suitable for watching videos or listening to stories. The Fulext's 40mm drivers are designed for clear audio, making them a strong candidate for the best low latency open ear headphones for kids who need reliable performance without lag.
No, the Dehailey Sleep Mask has permanently integrated electronics that cannot be removed. You must spot clean the fabric carefully to avoid damaging the internal battery and Bluetooth components, unlike the Fulext which allows you to remove the speakers for machine washing.
While both are marketed toward side sleepers, the Dehailey's contoured eye cavity is specifically designed to prevent pressure on the eyes and face, which helps those who shift positions frequently. The Fulext's flat headband is also comfortable for stomach sleeping as it lacks bulky ear cups, but it does not block light as effectively.
