The film was based on a real-life incident of a friend of Bala's, who had fallen in love, lost his mind and ended up at a mental asylum.[4][5] Tere Naam was released on 15 August 2003 and became a moderate box-office success, although its soundtrack album was a blockbuster. Khan was praised for his portrayal of Radhe Mohan and the role is widely considered to be his best performance till date.[6][7]
Anurag Kashyap was originally hired to direct the film but later removed from the film as he wanted Salman Khan to not shave his chest as the character of Radhe hailed from Uttar Pradesh where men are known to be very raw in terms of appearance. Satish Kaushik later took over.[9][10] Ameesha Patel was originally considered to play the role of Nirjara, but scheduling conflicts prevented her from accepting.[11] The role went to Bhumika Chawla, who made her Bollywood debut in the film.[12]

He is equally at ease in romantic, emotional and even in Mahendra Verma's well conceived action scene. Bhoomika Chawla impresses in her first Hindi movie. The supporting cast of Sachin Khedekar, Sarfaraz Khan and Ravi Kishan is reasonably good. The music by Himesh Reshammiya goes well with the movie". Madhureeta Mukherjee of The Times of India said, "Salman has given the great performance in the film. He's given an intense, unconventional performance. A homage to the song was released on 10 August 2018 and is featured in the 2018 film Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. Presented by Eros International & Aanand L Rai, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi is a Colour Yellow Production. Director Mudassar Aziz has provided additional lyrics to this version of the song, while Punjabi singing sensation and Hindi film debutant Jassi Gill has provided the male vocals, Sonakshi Sinha who plays the titular character in Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi has provided the female vocals. Ravi arranges for Vicky's visa and the money to go to Hong Kong. Once in Dubai, the Kapoors receive no word from him. Vicky has encountered problems in Hong Kong, as he was cheated out of a job, and his visa was obtained fraudulently. In order to remain in Hong Kong, he must work for ruthless international smuggler Rana, and must earn his keep or be turned over to the authorities, which eventually leads to Vicky's death by Police with Ravi watching and brothers consoling each other while the film ends.

Kishore Kumar made Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, hoping it would fail commercially; he wanted to show losses in his income, and thus avoid paying a huge income tax to the authorities. To his disgust, the film became a success; as he did not want to add to his earnings, he gave Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi and all its rights to his secretary Anoop Sharma, who retained the copyright. The income tax case on Kishore Kumar was not solved even after forty years.[3]
The music is composed by S. D. Burman with Jaidev and his son, R. D. Burman as the assistant music composers, and lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri.[11] The songs "Hum The Woh Thi" and "Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si" were based on Tennessee Ernie Ford's "The Watermelon Song" and Merle Travis's "Sixteen Tons" respectively.[12]
Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from modern-day critics. Madhubala's character is that of a remarkably liberated woman, driving her car and determined to be in charge of her life in a male-dominated world. [...] Anoop Kumar's beloved runs a petrol pump. Ashok Kumar's former girlfriend was forcibly married off, but he does not think twice about taking her back when they meet 10 years later. I cannot think of another Hindi film from the 1950s (or even 1960s or 1970s, in fact) that treats women so equally as men, and in which all the male protagonists are less chauvinistic.[2]

To achieve high-quality perovskite solar cells (PSCs), the morphology and carrier transportation of perovskite films need to be optimized. Herein, C60 is employed as nucleation sites in PbI2 precursor solution to optimize the morphology of perovskite films via vapor-assisted deposition process. Accompanying the homogeneous nucleation of PbI2, the incorporation of C60 as heterogeneous nucleation sites can lower the nucleation free energy of PbI2, which facilitates the diffusion and reaction between PbI2 and organic source. Meanwhile, C60 could enhance carrier transportation and reduce charge recombination in the perovskite layer due to its high electron mobility and conductivity. In addition, the grain sizes of perovskite get larger with C60 optimizing, which can reduce the grain boundaries and voids in perovskite and prevent the corrosion because of moisture. As a result, we obtain PSCs with a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 18.33% and excellent stability. The PCEs of unsealed devices drop less than 10% in a dehumidification cabinet after 100 days and remain at 75% of the initial PCE during exposure to ambient air (humidity > 60% RH, temperature > 30 C) for 30 days. be457b7860
