Deepanshu Giri is an astrologer, teacher, and the founder of Lunar Astro Vedic Academy, an online platform focused on Vedic astrology. Through Lunar Astro, he shares his understanding of astrology with people who want to learn about their birth charts, planetary influences, relationships, career, and different areas of life.
Lunar Astro offers several ways to explore Vedic astrology, including online astrology consultation, educational courses, books, and learning resources. Its approach focuses on explaining traditional astrological concepts in a way that students and astrology enthusiasts can understand and study.
For people searching for Deepanshu Giri, Lunar Astro, or online Vedic astrology courses, understanding his background and the services available on the official website can help them decide which resources suit their interests.
Deepanshu Giri is an astrologer known for his work in teaching and interpreting Vedic astrology. According to the official Lunar Astro website, he originally worked as an engineer and had professional experience in underwater robotics before taking a sabbatical in 2017–2018 to focus on his interest in astrology.
He comes from a family with a long-standing background in astrology and Ayurveda. The Lunar Astro website states that his family has been involved in these traditional fields for seven generations.
In 2018, Deepanshu Giri founded Lunar Astro Vedic Academy to share his knowledge of astrology with a wider audience. His work includes teaching astrological concepts, developing educational content, and helping students understand how traditional principles can be applied when studying birth charts.
One of the main ideas behind his teaching is to make complex astrological concepts easier to understand. Traditional Vedic astrology includes many technical terms, planetary combinations, zodiac signs, houses, and timing systems. For beginners, these concepts can feel difficult to understand without proper guidance.
Through educational material and structured courses, Lunar Astro aims to explain these topics in a more organised and practical way.

Lunar Astro Vedic Academy is an astrology education and consultation platform founded by Deepanshu Giri in 2018. It focuses on Vedic astrology, also known as Jyotish, and provides learning opportunities for beginners, experienced astrology students, and people interested in personal astrological guidance.
The platform brings together traditional astrological knowledge and educational methods designed for online learning.
Rather than focusing only on reading about astrology, students can explore courses that introduce basic concepts and gradually move towards predictive techniques and specialised subjects.
The official website offers several main services:
Astrology consultation: Personalised discussions about a person's birth chart and astrological questions.
Astrology courses: Structured lessons covering basic and advanced Vedic astrology topics.
Books: Printed books and e-books by Deepanshu Giri.
Educational resources: Learning material, case studies, and other resources that support the study of astrology.
These services cater to different needs. Someone who wants to understand a personal question may consider a consultation, while someone interested in learning astrology in depth may prefer a course or book.
You can explore the platform through the official Lunar Astro website.
Vedic astrology is a traditional Indian system that studies the positions of celestial bodies at the time of a person's birth. In this system, astrologers interpret a birth chart to understand different themes associated with an individual's life.
Deepanshu Giri's educational work at Lunar Astro places emphasis on understanding these astrological principles and using them to study charts.
A birth chart, also called a Janam Kundli, is prepared using details such as the date, time, and place of birth. In Vedic astrology, it is used to study the positions of planets, zodiac signs, houses, and other chart factors.
Learning to read a birth chart requires understanding how these elements work together. For example, an astrology student may study the seventh house when learning about marriage and partnerships or examine career-related houses and planetary combinations when exploring professional themes.
Lunar Astro offers courses that help students learn the basics of chart interpretation and move towards more detailed analysis.
Predictive astrology is a branch of astrology that attempts to interpret possible life themes and the timing of events through a birth chart and related techniques.
Lunar Astro includes courses on predictive astrology, planetary influences, Nakshatras, and Dasha systems. These subjects help students explore how traditional astrologers interpret charts and identify different periods within an astrological framework.
It is important to remember that astrological interpretations are based on traditional beliefs and practices. They are not scientifically established methods for predicting future events with certainty.
For many beginners, one of the biggest challenges is understanding how to apply theoretical knowledge to an actual birth chart.
Lunar Astro's learning resources are designed to help students move from basic concepts towards chart analysis and practical exercises. Depending on the course, students may explore examples, case studies, recorded lessons, and doubt-support options.
This approach can be useful for learners who prefer a structured learning path instead of studying disconnected astrological concepts.
Books are an important part of the learning resources available through Lunar Astro. Deepanshu Giri's books cover different subjects connected with Vedic astrology and can help readers explore specific concepts at their own pace.
The official website offers books in printed and digital formats, allowing readers to choose a format that fits their preferences.
Some titles displayed on the Lunar Astro website include the following:
This book is listed in Lunar Astro's book collection. Lagna, also called the Ascendant, is an important concept in Vedic astrology.
It represents the zodiac sign rising on the eastern horizon at the time of birth. Students of astrology study Lagna to understand the structure of a birth chart and how astrologers interpret its different elements.
Readers interested in learning about the Ascendant may find this subject relevant to their study of Vedic astrology.
Atmakarak is another title listed in the official collection. In Jaimini astrology, Atmakaraka is a significant concept associated with the planet holding the highest degree within a particular system of calculation.
Students interested in Jaimini astrology and deeper birth-chart interpretation may want to explore this subject.
Nakshatras are the 27 lunar divisions commonly used in Vedic astrology. Each Nakshatra has its own traditional symbolism and interpretive associations.
Studying Nakshatras can help learners understand another layer of chart interpretation beyond zodiac signs and houses.
Happy Soul is also listed among the books available on the Lunar Astro website. Readers interested in this title can check the official book page for the available edition and its description.
These titles represent examples from the website's collection, not a complete list of all publications. Availability, formats, descriptions, and prices may change over time.
Where can you find Deepanshu Giri's books?
You can browse the available titles and choose between printed books and e-books on the official Lunar Astro Books page.
Before purchasing, check the individual book description to understand its subject, format, and suitability for your level of knowledge.
Lunar Astro provides online astrology consultation for people who want to discuss personal questions through a birth-chart-based approach.
Not everyone who visits an astrology platform wants to study astrology in detail. Some people may simply want to understand how an astrologer interprets their Kundli in relation to a particular concern.
The consultation service is designed for people seeking individual guidance from the Lunar Astro team.
An online astrology consultation is a session in which a person discusses their questions with an astrologer remotely.
At Lunar Astro, the consultation process described on the official website involves booking a session and connecting with an astrologer through a scheduled video call. The astrologer discusses the birth chart and explains relevant interpretations.
Depending on the selected service, the process may also include chart sharing, a recording of the session, notes, or follow-up support. Readers should confirm the exact inclusions before booking.
People interested in Vedic astrology may have questions about different aspects of life, such as:
Career and professional direction: Exploring career-related themes through traditional birth-chart interpretation.
Marriage and relationships: Understanding astrological approaches to compatibility and relationship patterns.
Personal growth: Learning how astrologers interpret planetary placements and their traditional meanings.
Family and life decisions: Discussing personal questions through an astrological perspective.
Astrological remedies: Understanding traditional remedies suggested by an astrologer, where relevant.
The suitability of a consultation depends on the individual's questions and the service selected. Astrology should be treated as a source of personal or cultural reflection rather than a guaranteed way to resolve a problem.
For important medical, legal, financial, or other high-stakes decisions, consult an appropriately qualified professional instead of relying on astrology alone.
People interested in the service can visit the official consultation page and review the available booking options.
The general process is:
Visit the Lunar Astro Consultation page.
Review the available consultation options and select a suitable session.
Follow the booking instructions and provide the required information.
Confirm the appointment details and understand what the session includes.
Join the scheduled consultation and discuss your questions with the assigned astrologer.
Check the latest pricing, availability, and terms directly on the website before booking.
