Course Evaluation : MTH 423/623

Student performance will be evaluated based on the following three components:

1. First Term Assessment (20%), comprising:

   • Assignment: 5%

   • Quizzes: 5%. Two surprise quizzes will be conducted.

     • • The first quiz is expected in the last week of February, before the midterm examination.

       • The second quiz will be held in the second week of April, after the midterm examination.

The best one of the two quiz scores will be considered for final grading.

1. • Presentation: 10% with a duration of 30 minutes for BS-MS students and 1 hour for PhD students; 

2. Midterm Examination: 35%

3. End-Term Examination: 45%
