Introduction
DebtFlow ("we", "our", or "the app") is a personal debt manager and IOU ledger app. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
Information We Collect
All debt records you enter in DebtFlow (names, amounts, dates, notes, attachments) are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this information, and it is never uploaded to our servers.
The app may access:
Contacts — to help you select people when logging debts or IOUs (optional, only when you grant permission)
Storage/Photos — to let you attach images to records (optional, only when you grant permission)
Notifications — to send you payment reminders you set up yourself
In addition, limited data is processed by the third-party services described below: an anonymous identifier and purchase history for subscription management, and your device's advertising identifier and app events for advertising measurement.
How We Use Your Information
All information you enter (names, amounts, dates, notes) is stored exclusively on your device. Your financial records are never shared with us or with any third party. Data is shared with third parties only as described in "Third-Party Services" below, and we never sell your data.
Third-Party Services
Subscriptions (RevenueCat). DebtFlow Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase history (product, price, subscription status) to validate and manage your subscription. Advertising Measurement (Meta and TikTok). To measure the effectiveness of our advertising, DebtFlow includes software from Meta Platforms (Facebook) and TikTok. These SDKs may collect your device's advertising identifier, basic device information, and app events such as installs, app opens, and subscription purchases. This data is used solely for ad attribution and campaign measurement — it does not include any of your debt records or financial ledger data, which never leave your device.
On iOS, this tracking only occurs if you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings.

Data Security
Your data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. We do not have access to your data. Data transmitted to the third-party services described above is encrypted in transit.
Children's Privacy
DebtFlow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
