Debarati Das

I am an Emmert H. Bashore Faculty Development Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Basic Algorithms Research Copenhagen (BARC) hosted by Prof. Mikkel Thorup. I completed my PhD at the Computer Science Institute of Charles University in Prague under the kind supervision of Prof. Michal Koucký. 

My research interest lies in theoretical computer science, especially in data structures, fine-grained complexity and approximation algorithms, string algorithms, clustering algorithms, graph algorithms, and lower bounds.
