On April 27th 2023, The Deanster Weekly's host Clyde Arnold and editor Eli "Waltuh" White interviewed Scholar Quiz Semifinal Champion Gene Forer.
DW1: “So who are you Gene, and where were you in the scholar quiz before you were eliminated?“
G: “Well, you said my name, so I think you do know who I am. I was in the semifinals”.
DW2: “I was there”.
DW1: “What was your margin of defeat?”
G: “They beat us by 60 points”.
DW1: “How did this make you feel?”
G: “It made me feel ANGRY and MAD!!!”
DW1: “Are you happy with the team that won?”
G: Yes. “I love them. They're the best, that's what beat us”.
DW2: “Yeah”
G: “-and they beat DJ".
DW1: “Do you think that you should have won?”
G: “No”.
DW1: “Anything else you would like the readers of The Deanster Weekly to know?”
G: “Read this [newsletter] every week and you'll grow longer and taller”.
DW2: “High five!”
