Has the Drawing Club Drawn its Last Dying breath?

The once great “Drawing Club” has been subject to repeated delays. It has fallen down from its pedestal of fame, down into the alleyways of disappointment, but why is this?

The Drawing Club, located in Room 110, hasn’t been open for months now. It normally opens the doors to artists on Tuesday, but one fateful day, it stopped. Artists were subject to sadness and depression. Anxiety walking down the hallway to Room 110 just to be hit with the pathetic reality that it won’t be open that day. While some people speculate that the room was closed due to the Scholar’s Quiz, others say that the president of the club is phasing it out until he can close it. A few artists still have hope, but that hope is wading. It’s been so long that Drawing Club enthusiasts don’t remember the last time they’ve been to Drawing Club. 

On March 9th, 2023, yet another disappointing Tuesday, I interviewed the sad, beaten down artists of Drawing Club about how they felt.

REPORTER: How do you feel about the Drawing Club always being closed?

ARTIST 1: I feel horrible. The AM Wave keeps lying about it being open.

REPORTER: When was the last time you went to Drawing Club?

ARTIST 1: About 6 weeks ago.

REPORTER: Do you think it will be open any time soon?

ARTIST 1: No. 

I also interviewed yet another artist who chose not to give me a name. They felt similar to Artist 1.

REPORTER: What would you say about Drawing Club always being closed?

ARTIST 2:  Stupid. 1/10 would not recommend.

REPORTER: When was the last time that Drawing Club was open?

ARTIST 2: Eight years back, maybe.

REPORTER: When do you think Drawing Club will open?

ARTIST 2: Never. 

Yet another Drawing Club enthusiast happily accepted the interview with this reporter. This time, they provided a name.

REPORTER: How do you feel about the closing of the Drawing Club?

PEEZTA: I feel disappointed.

REPORTER: When do you think has been the last time you attended Drawing Club?

PEEZTA: Maybe 9 weeks.

REPORTER: Do you have any guess on when it’ll be open again?

PEEZTA: No, not really.

As you can see, Artists are unanimously disappointed and saddened by the absence of openings in Drawing Club. Nobody has any guess on when it will next be open, but they are sure it won’t be open soon.
