I will be at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in Washington DC, January 4–7, speaking at the special session on recent progress in quantum topology. After that, I'll attend the Simons collaboration on new structures in low-dimensional topology in New York City, March 26–27.

Here are some projects I am thinking about currently.

• Unification of the cohomologies of (n,n)-Springer varieties

• Mac Lane isomorphisms for quasialgebras gauge equivalent to k[G]

• L-spaces and quasi-alternating links in RP^3 (Joint with Keegan Boyle)

• Ribbon concordance and odd Khovanov homology (Joint with Rithwik Vidyarthi and Chen Zhang)

• I work at the volunteer-run Fountain Theater, where I am realizing a childhood dream by moonlighting as a projectionist. In Ann Arbor, Elena (my fiancée) and I ran a microcinema out of our apartment; we have hopes to reopen one day.

• I have amazing friends, including an internationally ranked powerlifter. I used to do that too, but not quite as well.

• I'm a big Detroit Tigers fan :(
