Come Work In Our Factories with Dean Fraser

I've been a poet and storyteller for fifteen years. I'm former resident poet on a NW England based TV channel, and I hosted over three hundred and fifty episodes of my erstwhile radio show Beyond Poetry.

I wrote Come Work In Our Factories specifically to perform in museums and historic settings. I'm so grateful that over the years I've visited so many incredible locations to perform, like right there in the middle of a cotton mill museum, and another time, in amongst steam locomotives. With my fascination for our industrial past, these are places I would wish to explore anyway!

I very much encourage audience input and questions during the event, I love to hear their stories.

The event lasts around one hour, but best to allow a little longer for audience questions. There's also a two hour version of the event, ask me for details. I bring along copies of my book Come Work In Our Factories for my audience members to buy after the event. If you would like to buy the book yourself, it's available HERE
