Deadline Bar ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Deadline Bar handles information when you use our iOS application (the "App").
Deadline Bar is designed to be private by default. The App does not require an account, does not use a server, and does not collect personal data from you.
We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information through the App.
The timelines, titles, dates, progress styles, color themes, and settings you create in Deadline Bar are stored locally on your device using Apple's local storage technologies. This information is not sent to our servers because Deadline Bar does not operate a backend server for user data.
Deadline Bar may store the following data locally on your device:
Timeline titles
Start dates and end dates
Progress style preferences
Color theme preferences
Display settings, such as showing percentage or remaining time
App language preference
Widget display data used by Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets
This data remains on your device and is used only to provide the App's core features.
Deadline Bar supports Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. To make widgets work, the App may save a small local snapshot of your timelines in an Apple App Group container shared between the App and its widgets.
This widget data stays on your device. It is not uploaded to us or shared with any external server by Deadline Bar.
Deadline Bar may offer optional Pro subscriptions through Apple's StoreKit and the App Store.
All payments, billing information, refunds, subscription management, and payment processing are handled by Apple. We do not receive or store your credit card number, payment credentials, or Apple ID password.
The App may use subscription entitlement information provided by Apple on your device to determine whether Pro features are unlocked.
Because Deadline Bar does not collect personal data, we do not use your personal information for analytics, advertising, profiling, or marketing.
Locally stored App data is used only to:
Display your timelines and progress bars
Calculate elapsed and remaining time
Show widgets on your device
Apply your selected styles, colors, and language preferences
Unlock Pro features when a valid subscription is detected through Apple
Deadline Bar does not include third-party advertising.
Deadline Bar does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs to collect your personal data.
If this changes in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before such tools are used.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.
Deadline Bar does not upload your timeline data to any server operated by us.
Apple may process certain information related to App Store downloads, purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and diagnostics according to Apple's own privacy policy and App Store terms.
Your Deadline Bar data is stored locally on your device for as long as you keep it in the App.
You can delete individual timelines inside the App. You can also remove all locally stored App data by deleting the App from your device, subject to Apple's iOS data retention and backup behavior.
If your device backup includes App data, Apple may store that backup according to your iCloud or device backup settings.
We care about keeping your data private. Deadline Bar avoids unnecessary data collection by keeping your timelines local to your device.
However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Apple ID, device backups, and passcode.
Deadline Bar is not intended to collect information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address the issue.
Deadline Bar is available to users in multiple countries and regions. Since the App does not collect or transmit personal data to our servers, your timeline data remains on your device unless you choose to back it up through Apple services such as iCloud.
Apple's processing of App Store, purchase, subscription, and device-related information is governed by Apple's own privacy practices.
Because Deadline Bar does not collect personal data from the App, we generally do not have access to personal information that can be provided, corrected, exported, or deleted by us.
You remain in control of your local App data. You may:
Edit or delete timelines in the App
Change App preferences in the App
Remove App data by deleting the App
Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID settings
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of Deadline Bar after any changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
