THE COURT OF THE DAMNED.

on january 31st 2025, an alliance of vampires and other members of the downworld came together to stand against akasha, the original queen of the damned/the queen and origins of all forms of vampires. after spending just over a month causing havoc across the globe, killing vampires and human men alike with the aim of creating a new eden, these vampires took a stand alongside their allies. 

what occurred during this stand was, eventually, the destruction of akasha, and a transferring of the 'sacred core' within akasha- the power of all vampires that cannot be destroyed without causing the deaths of all vampires in every variation. this 'sacred core' was transferred to the vampire, mekare and she is now serving as the new queen of the damned.

although somewhat neutral on somethings, mekare and her newly established court do offer their alliances to different groups of magic users as many came to their aid. they are allied to the clave, to rieker academy, to lochmoor as well as others. they do now agree with the likes of heaven at all and do not believe that heaven truly stand as a positive force looking to protect. however, they are not about to go outright attacking heaven either. they have plenty to rebuild in their world after akasha's destruction and this will always remain at the top of their priorities list.
