updates on the books ive started:

(FEBRUARY 16, 2026)// WATCHMEN - heyo its the 16th of feb still and i just wanted to update on watchmen, cus thats what im mainly reading, anyways i got to chapter 4 and holy moly, every page just gets better and better. im obsessed with the writing, and the fact that its so real, with the presidents and the timeline, i love the characters because theyre all so thought about and well written, except for like ANY of the girls but whatever. Im a lil lost on a few parts but im sure i wont be soon; like how theres that random sad scene of the boy reading a comic his boss or something gives him and i really liked how everything that was going on in the comic he was reading was sort of a reflection of what was going on in that moment of the comic im reading, i thought that was cool, and i found it sad the way that sort of scene ends, on how he knows theyre all gunna die so take the comic, take the hat, take this and that (bars), and go home to ur mom and treat her right cus life is short, err he says something like that. but its sweet and sad, but it kinda got me confused on why its there honeslty, maybe it was an outisders view, like a normal people view on how they think about the situation at hand. But other than that i like how when shit just gets real bad, Jon just fucking teleports to mars, like what the fuck bro can you not just do something about it, your like the only one with actual powers faggot, i dont know, there is sooooo much going on in this shit its hard to keep all my thoughts straight foward and in one place but i really enjoy the comic so far, like a lot, and its raining today so i feel so mystic and shit idk. my favorite character so far is Nite Owl, he's the most normal out of everyone ive seen, and loooove his excerpt shit "under the hood", how everyone had to reveal their identities, how being a superhero wasnt as appealing to him anymore, rather mending cars was what he wanted to do, and i really enjoyed how he explained his feeling of meeting dr manhattan for the first time, and if you dont mid i would like to qoute it;

"I met both Dr. Manhattan anb Ozymandias for the first time at a charity event in the June of 1960. Ozymandias seemed to be a nice young fellow, although i personally found Dr. Manhattan to be a little distant. Maybe that was nire my fault than his, though, since i found very difficult to feel easy around the guy, even once i'd got used to the shock of his physisical presence. its a strange feeling...the first time you meet him your brain wants to scream, blow a fuse and shut itself down immediately, refusing to accept that he exsists. this lasts for a couple minutes, at which time he's still there and hasnt gone away, and in the end you accept him because he's standing there and talking to you and after a while it almost seems normal. Almost."

I had to qoute it cus i really enjoy how he sort of justifies how this man with super abilities is just a normal guy like us, hes around, he's talking, he has emotion and awkwardness just like all of us, and its kind of cool, to put that in perspective i guess; you can feel that way with anyone ur unsure of. Like a Celeb, someone you hate, someone you look up to, a crush, Or just to anyone you dont know really, i guess. i dont know how to explain my thoughts, but that part and many other parts make me think a lot, and that, to me, is a sign of a really well and thought out comic book, the way it can change your mind if you really thought about it, the way you can see into other peoples eyes, how the fact everything is so intouch with reality that everything it says makes you question the real reality your living in, if any of this makes sense to you, thank you, i prolly sound like a lunatic, anyways thats my update so far, i also would like to mention, im most DEFINITLEY watching the tv show after i finish the book, but im worried of it being actual trash, or nothing like the books, or just bad acting, cus ive seen it happen with other amazing books, SO if you know the facts and watched the show let me know if its good, cus i also dont want to waste my time you know? tnhanks.

this is my secret: when i was just a lil kid, my father gave me a book on harley quinn vs batman or something liek that, and i fell head over heels for harley. i watched the suicide squad movie when it came out, read every single harley book i could my hands on, and i still have the millions of figures i got of her as a kid. and then one day i guess i moved on and forgot all about her. i still love her, and even more now that my brain is more developed. but wow, i miss harley, i miss the way i loved her 💔
