This meeting is IN PERSON ONLY; there is no provision for Internet streaming or Dial-up Audio.

Attendees MUST follow the Safety Guidelines required by the synagogue. See below.

Election of Club Officers

The election of DCWOC club officers is on October 6, 2022. You must be present to vote or run for office. Nominations for office will be taken from the floor at this club meeting. You must be a member for two months and your dues must be up to date to vote or run for office. You will have an opportunity to join the club and vote or catch up on your dues and vote at the meeting.

The Nominating Committee has nominated the following people for office:

1st Vice President - Eric Lever

Secretary - OPEN

Treasurer - Alice Marie De Leon

"Pros" and "Cons"

The League is a non-partisan, grassroots, organization working to protect and expand voting rights and ensure everyone is represented in our democracy; it does NOT endorse or oppose political candidates or parties at any level of government. After careful study and consensus, the League may choose to support or oppose political issues.


DCWOC Pros & Cons session will ​review the California State Propositions on the November ballot and ​provide unbiased information to help ​voters form their election decisions.

Attendee Safety Guidelines

Safety guidelines required by the event host.

  • Masks are NOT optional, all attendees must wear a mask. DCWOC will have some masks at the door; however, it's suggested attendees provide their own.

  • Food is not allowed to be served or eaten inside during events.

  • Social distancing is optional, but highly recommended. The venue has ample seating area so you are encouraged to spread out.

  • If you are experiencing symptoms or feeling ILL, please do not attend in person.

Purpose

The purpose of the Democratic Club of West Orange County (DCWOC) is to advance the goals of the Democratic Party and progressive values, working with individual club members and supporting local candidates, through public policy and political issue analysis, education, fundraising, recruitment, coordination with other Democratic groups, and other activities.

DCWOC supports the broadest possible registration in the Party and recruitment of DCWOC membership without discrimination on grounds of race, color, creed, national origin, ethnic identity, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or economic status.

Join us to stay informed, empower yourself, get involved and become an active Democrat in your community, and help create positive change. We work to register voters, and have informational lectures, political workshops, and help in campaigns.DCWOC is a Political Action Committee registered with the Federal Elections Committee (FEC) and Chartered by the Orange County Democratic Party (DPOC).
