Legion of Superheroes: Easy A

• At a futuristic university in New Metropolis, there is a class on superhero history. It is decided by the professor that Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, and some random star student, and Lightning Lad are to be in a group. Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, and the star student actually show up to class but they have to go and find Lightning Lad, who never goes. They go to his place and meet his sister who introduces them to the party guy Lightning Lad.

• They are able to convince each other to learn about the Appalaxians and visit their dead host bodies in Central City. When they get there, they split up but then they all of a sudden start waking back up with the psychic energy. Later we find out that it was the star student who woke them all up to get 100% on this project. Each of them has to deal with their own entity, but when Lightning Lad is fighting his, he escapes in the water which is very violent and the trauma causes him to unlock his lightning powers. The bodies slowly start to walk towards each other and then they merge into one giant beast. 

• They discover that they can pull one part of the beast apart at a time and Saturn Girl can free the extra-dimensional alien being with her telepathy. They managed to do this for each and every one. 

• The person presenting their project before them was Brainiac 5 who did their research on the antigravity staff, and he made a ring that can do the same thing.  After this, they present to the class and the teacher gives them 100% but the star student gets no points. They decide that they can do this more in the future and form the Legion of Superheroes.
