D Company Armouries was founded during WWII. The original concrete floor, poured by wheelbarrow, is still in use. Today the Armouries primarily serves as a home for the Army, Airforce, and Sea Cadets, while also functioning as a rental event space for Grande Prairie and the wider community.
• Foundation's Incorporation: May 1990
• Facilities: Men's and women's washrooms, electrical plug-ins throughout, 42 long rectangular tables, 12 round (8-seater) tables, and 100 chairs
• Rental Rates: $30/hour or $300/day (this includes set-up the evening before, when possible)
• Patrons are responsible for removing their own garbage and recycling
