The Doctoral Workshop on Computing, Management and Decision Making (CMDM 2017) is a scientific opportunity for PhD students to attend doctoral courses and present their works. The goal is to provide feedback and advice to PhD students both on technical aspects of their research as well as career development.

Considering the importance of science and technology in today's world, it is important to undertake scientific global inquiries in various aspects. The main workshop topics are related to:

We expect a range of attendees including senior and young researchers that will interact to share their expertise. The main idea of this event is to allow PhD and Master students to meet with peers outside of their home institution, to get theoretical and technical feedbacks as well as career advices from senior researchers in their field and to articulate their own work in a public, non-threatening forum.


The participant PhD-students are requested to prepare a paper containing original research. Each paper submitted to CMDM'17 will be rigorously evaluated in a double review process. Review criteria include significance of the work, technical soundness, novelty, clarity, and writing quality. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the workshop proceeding. Proceedings shall be submitted to for online publication.
