If you want playful style with fast charging and a compact, travel-ready case for vlogging, choose DCHK Haribo; if you need extended battery life, a clear LED status display, and maximum durability for intense outdoor sessions, choose Generic M25.
• DCHK Haribo: The standout strength is its unique, fun design with rapid 1.5-hour charging, making it perfect for quick top-ups during a busy day of content creation. Its trade-off is a smaller carrying case capacity and a shorter single-charge playtime compared to larger competitors. This pick is ideal for creators who value aesthetics and portability over marathon listening sessions.
• Generic M25: The biggest advantage here is the massive 20-hour total battery life provided by its high-capacity case and the convenience of an LED screen that tracks power levels instantly. The downside is a bulkier form factor and a heavier case that might feel less discreet in a pocket. This pick suits users who prioritize long usage times and rugged performance for active lifestyles.
The DCHK Haribo earbuds are built for those who treat their audio gear as part of their personal expression. With a design theme centered around the iconic gummy bear motif, these earbuds come in a bright yellow casing that immediately sets them apart from the sea of black or white headphones on the market. If you are filming for social media or vlogging, this visual distinctiveness can be a genuine asset, adding a touch of personality to your setup without needing extra props. The "open ear" vibe often associated with casual wear is present here, but in an in-ear bud form factor, meaning they stay secure while offering that vibrant look that appeals to younger audiences or those who enjoy pop culture references.
In terms of performance, the Haribo model leverages Bluetooth 5.3 technology, which ensures a stable connection with a range of up to 32.8 feet. This is crucial when you are moving around a set, walking through a park, or shifting locations while recording. The 13mm dynamic drivers deliver deep bass suitable for genres like rock, hip-hop, and EDM, ensuring your background music or voiceovers sound rich rather than tinny. For vloggers specifically, the Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) feature helps isolate your voice during calls or voice notes, reducing wind noise and ambient chatter. You also get auto-pairing, so the moment you lift the buds from the case, they connect to your device without fumbling through menus—a small time-saver that adds up when you are in a rush.

However, you must consider the battery constraints if your shooting days are exceptionally long. While the earbuds themselves offer about 5 hours of playback, the charging case provides additional power, though the case itself is quite compact. At just over 2 inches in length, it fits easily into a small jacket pocket or a bag compartment, but it won't hold the same charge volume as larger cases. The charging time is impressive at roughly 1.5 hours, meaning you can get a full charge quickly before heading out. This makes the Haribo excellent for someone who charges their gear every night and needs a reliable, stylish companion for daily vlogs, podcasts, or casual listening. If you plan on being away from a power source for more than a full workday without access to a charger, the shorter battery life might require you to carry the case more frequently to swap out the buds or recharge mid-day.
The Generic M25 earbuds are engineered for the power user who refuses to let a dying battery interrupt their workflow. The defining feature here is the battery ecosystem. This is not just about listening to music; for a vlogger shooting multiple scenes, conducting interviews, and editing on the go, having a backup battery that lasts two full days without plugging in is a game-changer. The inclusion of an LED display on the case takes this a step further by showing exactly how much power remains, eliminating the guesswork that often plagues wireless audio devices. You know precisely when you need to plug in, preventing any awkward moments where your audio cuts out during a critical take.
Durability is another pillar of the M25 design. These earbuds are rated as waterproof and sweat-resistant, making them a robust choice for outdoor vlogging, running, or exercising while recording. The IPX4 equivalent protection means they can handle heavy rain or intense perspiration without issue. The 13.4mm dynamic drivers provide stereo sound with a sensitivity of 98 dB, ensuring the audio is loud and clear even in noisy environments. Furthermore, the latency is listed at 40 milliseconds, which is a competitive figure for wireless audio, helping to keep lip-sync issues to a minimum when pairing with video cameras or smartphones. The passive noise cancellation, combined with the noise reduction technology for calls, helps you focus on your content even when the world around you is chaotic.
The trade-off lies in the physical footprint. The M25 case measures 3.5 inches in length, making it noticeably larger and heavier (2.5 ounces) than the Haribo option. It will take up more space in a bag or pocket, which might be a consideration for minimalists or those who prefer ultra-compact gear. The design is more utilitarian, featuring a standard black aesthetic that blends in rather than stands out. If your priority is pure function—getting the job done with zero downtime—and you don't care about the "cute" factor, the M25 is the superior tool. It is built for the person who views their earbuds as essential equipment rather than a fashion statement.

After analyzing the specifications and design philosophies of both units, I would choose the Generic M25 for serious vlogging work. While the DCHK Haribo is undeniably charming and perfect for casual listeners who love a bit of whimsy, the demands of content creation require reliability above all else. The 20-hour battery life and the LED display on the M25 eliminate the anxiety of running out of power in the middle of a shoot, and the lower latency ensures better synchronization with video footage. For anyone looking for open ear earbuds for vlogging that can withstand the rigors of a production schedule, the M25 offers the functional superiority needed to keep working without interruption.
Both models support Bluetooth 5.3 and have noise reduction features, but the Generic M25 has a specific 40ms audio latency rating which is beneficial for keeping audio and video synchronized during recording.
The DCHK Haribo case is significantly smaller and lighter, measuring only 2.16 inches in length, making it far more pocket-friendly than the bulkier 3.5-inch case of the Generic M25.
The DCHK Haribo earbuds provide about 5 hours of playback per charge, whereas the Generic M25 offers a much longer total session time of 20 hours when including the charging case.
Yes, both models are designed for active use. The Generic M25 is explicitly described as waterproof and sweat-resistant, making it ideal for intense outdoor activities and weather exposure.
