In view of the growing complexity and technicality of research protocols driven by expanded resident and fellowship programs, as well as the higher volume of research submissions requiring detailed ethical review and technical assessments, the DCHD JREC shall UPDATE their schedule of fees, effective immediately.
All research protocols conducted at SPMC by external agencies, residents, and students will now be subject to the following review fees:
For research projects initiated by external agencies, the following institutional fee policy will apply:
Collected upon signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) or Contractual Terms Agreement (CTA)
50% of the fee will go to the hospital’s general fund
50% will be allocated to the involved hospital department(s)
