Spectators:
We welcome spectators to our meet! Please be aware BU reserves the right to collect an admission fee for spectators at a rate of typically $10-15 per person at the door.
All spectators must view the competition from the stands. Only athletes, coaches, agents, and official media are permitted in the infield area.
Although there is currently no policy excluding spectators from inside the facility, BU controls this policy and may determine a change could be necessary for the safety of all.
Masks:
There is currently no mask mandate while inside the track facility. This policy may be adjusted at a later date if deemed necessary and required by Boston University.
Spikes:
Pyramid spikes must be no longer than 1/4 inch.
Pin and Christmas tree spikes are NOT permitted.
Shoe Check:
Per NCAA and World Athletic rules, a random shoe check will take place in the clerking area. Approved shoes can be found here.

All USATF rules apply to appropriate use of the competition/facility hosting the meet. Failure to comply with any and all rules risks the safety of athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers and spectators. This failure is grounds for immediate DQ and exclusion from the meet. Additionally, failure to comply will make you liable in the case of any incident that arises from an official's, volunteer's, spectator's, athlete's and/or athlete's coaches negligence.
Implement Warm Ups: (throws)
All warm ups involving an implement MUST be supervised at all times by an official, and doing so without an official present is grounds for athlete disqualification. All implement warm ups MUST take place within the throwing cage. Using any location outside of the designated throwing cage is NOT permitted and will garner disqualification from the meet without refund and possible exclusion from future USATF sanctioned events.
Weigh-In:
The implement weigh-in area is typically located adjacent to or within the throws cage. All implements will be certified with officials prior to the start of each event. Please have your implements picked up after the completion of the event.
