GBTC INVITE is officially postponed to Sunday February 8th 2026.
Q&As for the moved GBTC Invite:
What is the new time and date?
Feb. 8th, see meet schedule page.
Is the event schedule the same?
Sort of, we will be moving the 3k to the morning in our next update, and events will shift. Keep an eye out for this update.
Additionally, there will be some facility construction to navigate near the throws cage, but we have been assured this will not prevent throws from being contested.
If I can not make the new date, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, no.
How can I help if I can't make the new meet date?
Please scratch yourself via your DA account, this will update our entries and avoid looking for you on the new date.
Will my initial entry for the original meet date carry over?
Yes, your entry and payment will automatically transfer over to the new meet date. There is noting more you need to do.
Can I still register for the new date?
Yes, registration is back open on Direct Athletics.
Can I change events?
Yes, if you can't change events via your DA account, then email the meet director with your request change (from event(s) and to event(s) with associated seed(s)). Do not scratch your original event with the idea of changing events as DA will charge your for the additional event, and in the meantime you will have disappeared from our database. It is actually easier to leave your old entry in, and provide the information for your change event. You may only change 1:1, so you can't scratch one and then add two, that will cost an additional entry fee.

Good evening GBTC Invitational Athletes, Coaches, and Parents,
We were very excited to host another wonderful GBTC Invitational on Sunday February 25th. We appreciate the incredible annual support from the track and field community, and also want to give a shout out to the volunteers and vendors who were ready and willing to put on another successful meet.
But as many of you have predicted, due to the significant snowstorm forecasted for the area, Harvard has made the difficult decision to cancel [hopefully postpone] our scheduled track meet. Given the expected timing, weather conditions and potential travel and facility safety concerns, they felt this was the most responsible course of action. They regret the inconvenience this has caused and the administration has shared with me their willingness, including their track staff, to explore rescheduling the meet over the next few weeks.
I have included a google form to survey some possible (unconfirmed) rescheduling dates. We acknowledge that any reschedule will certainly not work for everyone, and we will be limited to the availability of the facility and the coordination of our vendors, but we will try our best to satisfy the majority. There is no guarantee that a reschedule is possible. There will be no refunds, as the meet website has stated, but we will credit entry transfers to a reschedule date if one can be procured.
Please be patient as we continue to work to investigate our alternative options.
Please complete the following google form survey:
Sincerely,
David Callum
