The DC Doula Learning and Action Collaborative has a shared vision for doula integration into the Medicaid system which includes:

• Centering doulas and their experience to identify and act on tangible changes that ensure ease of engagement in the Medicaid system for doulas

• Improving maternal health outcomes in the District through increased access to doulas for Medicaid beneficiaries

Being a part of DLAC means access to key relationships, resource-sharing, technical support and education to reduce the challenges and barriers for doulas entering and navigating the various systems of Medicaid. 

Being a member provides opportunities to engage in our work!
