Born in Jeonju South Korea, violinist Dayeon Jang started playing the violin at the age of six after watching a violinist on TV. Dayeon graduated with a bachelor's degree with Classical Violin Performance and Music Education from Sookmyung Women’s University with the guidance of Eun Kyu Yoon.
She did her master's degree in Classical Violin Performance at Manhattan School of Music under Lucie Robert.
In addition to her solo performing, Dayeon is active as a chamber musician, orchestra musician, and educator.
As an orchestral musician, she is a section violinist at Helena Symphony Orchestra from 2025, New World Symphony Orchestra, substitute from 2024 to present and National Repertory Orchestra fellow.
Currently she serves as faculty for the New Jersey School of Music.
