Privacy Policy
========================================
Daye is a private, offline-first journaling app. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
1. Data Stored on Your Device
Journal entries, moods, tags, photos, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. Daye is intended to work without requiring an account.
2. Information We Access
- Photo Library: used only when you choose to attach an image.
- Camera: used only if you choose to capture a photo in a future feature.
- Biometric Authentication: used only if you enable app lock.
3. Data Sharing
Daye does not sell your information. Your content is not shared unless you explicitly export or share a file from the app.
4. Notifications
Daye does not send push notifications or marketing notifications in the current version of the app.
5. Exports and Backups
If you export entries as PDF, CSV, or JSON, the exported file is created locally on your device. After export, handling depends on where you save or share it.
6. Security
Daye includes optional app lock support. No storage method is perfectly secure, but the app is designed to keep your journal private by default and on-device.
7. Changes to This Policy
This local policy document may be updated in future releases. Updates become effective when the new version of the app is installed.
