About the Project

My aim with this film was to contrast the pretty, or rather, innocent days of childhood, in which we long to have back—with the more vile and testing ones of adolescence and young adulthood. More specifically, VICE embodies what it’s like to become of age in a society that spawns mental illness.

Hey! I’m Dylan, a second year CinCom student, and I enjoy making films that center around femininity and the trials of girlhood. I draw inspiration from my own experiences in hopes that you may feel a personal connection to my work.
