Is the present moment the surface of a crystallising multiverse?

The present moment is the liminal zone of transition between the unordered chaos of the future and the frozen crystalline structure of the past. It is the point at which the path of a particular universe is determined by the composition of its past reacting to the potentialities available in that region of chaos. The place where that reaction happens is the only region where free will could exist.
